New Urbanism - Traditional Neighborhoods - Form-based codes… the latest fashion in planning terminology and mindset. But what are the realities in pursuit of this conviction? Longmont is the home of the nationally renowned Prospect Village project, which has provided an ongoing lab from which to learn. To the casual eye, the project reads like a perfect model to be easily replicated. But, success has not come without bumps and bruises along the way. Come join us in an evaluation of the context for application of new urbanism; application of practicable principles leading to success and sustainability; and, an examination of challenges and the means to overcoming them.

$10 per person: Light Snacks and 1 beverage ticket per person included in admission. Cash bar will be available for additional drink purchases.
