CO Safe Routes to School Advisory Committee - Seeking Volunteers

Our fabulous Colorado Safe Routes to School (CSRS) Advisory Committee is seeking new members!

The CSRS Advisory Committee is looking for three new members. Two new members from a Metropolitan Planning Organization and one Law Enforcement representative. The advisory board shapes the SRTS program and reviews grant proposals every one to two years. If you have a passion for getting more kids biking and walking to school safely, we'd love to hear from you!

The CSRTS Advisory Committee's primary responsibility is to review Safe Routes to School grant applications and recommend projects for funding. In addition, the committee is responsible for input into the process, the long-term growth of the program, and sharing program information with their communities. If you would like to be involved, please send a resume and brief description of interest to Melissa.Houghton@state.co.us as soon as possible.

Thank you for sharing your time to build safe and healthy futures!
