Q&A Responses - coming soon...

Transit across the US has been affected by COVID-19 pandemic as a result of shelter-in-place orders, social distancing, safety, and fear. Join our panelists from around Colorado as they discuss the impacts of the pandemic on Colorado transit today and the likely lingering effects in the future. Immediate effects of the pandemic created the need to shut down or scale back service and enact safety and health precautions that range from cleaning regimes to rider safety and driver protection. Join us for a discussion on how agencies responded to the crisis; how these affect revenue, rider confidence, and those who are transit dependent; and hear thoughts on how this may affect transit and provision of service in the future.

Moderator: Susan A Wood, FAICP

  • Ann Rajewski: Executive Director, Colorado Association of Transit Agencies (CASTA)
  • Douglas Monroe, AICP: Corridor Planning (Operations) Manager, Regional Transportion District (RTD)
  • David Krutsinger, AICP: Division of Transit & Rail Director, Colorado Department of Transportation (CDOT)
  • Jason White: Transit Planner, Roaring Fork Transportation Authority (RFTA)
