The 2019 election season is upon us. Several APA Colorado Chapter officer positions on the Chapter Board are up for consideration this year. Click on the position title for more information. Election Timeline for Chapters
- February: APA Colorado initiates Call for Nominations
- March 22: Deadline for candidate email/letter of interest to APA Colorado
- March 29: APA Colorado Chapter Board approval of 2017 Ballot
- April 24: DEADLINE
- Submission of names of potential candidates to National
- Submission of electronic position statements for all potential candidates to National
- June 3 Member list for ballot distribution is prepared, for members eligible to vote in the election.
- July 15 Ballots available online, reminders emailed to all chapter/division members.
- August 15 Firm deadline for receipt of ballots from membership
- August 20 Survey Ballot Systems certifies election results and prepares report to National for dissemination to Chapters/Divisions
- September New leaders attend onboarding and orientation meetings at the Fall Policy Conference in Washington, DC
- November 1|January 1, 2020 Newly elected leaders take office
